In short
The solution slide shows your product, ideally as a screenshot or photo, and explains in two or three points how it removes the pain on the problem slide. Lead with the customer’s result, not the technology, and keep features to the few that matter.
After the problem, the investor wants to see what you built and why it works. The best solution slides are visual and short.
What to include
- A product screenshot, photo or short flow.
- Two or three key features, each tied to a pain from the problem slide.
- The result for the customer: time saved, money saved, revenue gained or risk reduced.
- One line on what makes the approach different.
Mirror the problem slide
If the problem slide listed three pains, list three answers in the same order. Investors can then see at a glance that the solution fits the problem.
Common mistakes
- A long feature list.
- Technical detail that belongs in an appendix or a demo.
- Mock-ups presented as if they were a finished product.
- No visual at all.
Frequently asked questions
Should I include a product demo in the pitch deck?
Include screenshots on the slide and keep a short demo or video ready for the meeting. Do not rely on a video playing inside a sent PDF.
